Ramsay is a small inner-city community in southeast Calgary, east of the Elbow River and Stampede Park and just south of Inglewood. It was developed from the 1880s and took the name Ramsay in 1956, when the older areas of Burnsland, Brewery Flats, Grandview and Mills Estate were combined.
Its hillside streets offer some of the best downtown skyline views in the city, and residents are a short walk from Inglewood's 9 Avenue SE, the Elbow River pathway and Stampede Park. The planned Inglewood/Ramsay Green Line station will add LRT access.
