Living in Patterson
Patterson (also called Patterson Heights) is a hillside community in west Calgary, established in 1983 and named after the Patterson family who owned much of the land. It was once known as Broadcast Hill, and it hosted the media village for the 1988 Winter Olympics.
The community's elevation gives many homes sweeping views of downtown and the mountains, and Edworthy Park and the Bow River valley are just across Sarcee Trail. Residents have quick access to downtown via Bow Trail and to the mountains via the Trans-Canada.
